The Southern California Youth Track and Field Conference provides a safe competitive environment for our community’s young athletes.

Your child is going to benefit from a strong tradition of dedication, hard work, and uncompromising belief in every child’s need for a positive self-image. We want our kids to have fun and accomplish his or her personal best.

Our member clubs teach the basic and advanced skills needed for all our Track & Field events. While doing so, we stress the importance of commitment; anything worthwhile demands time and devotion.

Not only will our athletes walk away with confidence and great memories, but also with the knowledge they were able to accomplish their personal best !

Track meet competitions are held on a weekly basis between the Conference’s member clubs, culminating in JV Finals, Varsity Finals, and the Co-Conference Championships against teams from the Ventura County Youth Track Conference.

Ventura County Youth Track Conference

The LA84Foundation will once again offer a great free track and field clinic in February at Moorpark High School for coaches/ volunteers of all levels featuring some of the finest coaches in our sport including from the USATF Olympic Training Center Olympic champions Joaquim Cruz and Al Joyner, former world record holder Willie Banks, national record holder Giovanni Lanaro, and world class coaches Art Venegas, Craig Poole, Jeremy Fischer, Charles Clinton, along with several other imminently successful high school CIF Championship coaches. 

There will be multiple sessions offered for every coach at every level, not only is the clinic absolutely free for all coaches and interested adults who would like to attend but every coach who attends will also receive a free CD with the 457 page LA84 Foundation Track & Field Coaching manual.
